Sajak Kretek dan Dua Gelas Kopi

Dua gelas kopi, sebungkus kretek dan lamunan di pagi hari.

Tak ada kicau burung dan embun pagi.

Berselimut sepi tanpa hati.

Tanpa isi.

 

Surya menari nari di ujung timur negeri.

Hangatkan diri panaskan energi bersiap hadapi hari.

Tapi dimana gerangan sang hati?

Tampaknya terhalang masa lalu yang tak bisa ia hadapi.

 

Bara kretek mulai mati.

Sang surya pun mulai berdiri tinggi.

Energi mendidih siap perkosa hari.

Tapi dimana gerangan sang hati?

Tampaknya masih terhalang masa lalu yang menghantui.

 

Lalu haruskah aku tetap disini menunggu sang hati?

 

Energi sudah mati.

Kopi menyatu dalam diri.

Aku tetap disini menunggu sang hati.

Walau entah kapan ia kemari.

Penantian Sebuah Senyum Dalam Udara Baru

Gelap memudar, dipukul mundur guratan cahaya.
Ia tak lagi pekat.
Tak lagi menyeramkan.
Dingin menyeruak masuk ke sela sela tengkuk.
Disini di hari baru ini.
Aku masih berkelana.
Semenjak gelap muncul hingga ia memudar, aku masih setia.
Di teras penuh kesibukan, di udara yang baru muncul.
Aku setia duduk menentramkan diri yang mulai kalut memikirkanmu.
Kepulan asap dan tegukan air pun masih setia berteman denganku.
Apa kabar cahaya terang disana?
Semoga senyumanmu hari ini dapat padamkan kalutku ini.

Dibawah Gelap Didalam Damai

Duduk diam.
Ditemani lampu yang berlarian.
Dengan seorang sahabat karib dan teman – teman pembawa maut.
Bertelanjang kaki, beratap gelap.
Waktu berjalan perlahan.
Kata kata lepas kontrol.
Sampai tiba lampu yang berlari harus terhenti dan waktu berhenti berputar.
Lepaskan sayap dan tanduk.
Mari berselimut dalam sepi.
Tertidur lelap dalam damai.

Satu Stasiun

Cuma sesaat,cuma sebentar.
Setelah itu kau kembali melaju jauh tak terkira.
Melaju kencang tak menoleh kebelakang.
Kembali tinggalkan stasiun ini.
Berapa lama lagi kau akan kembali?
Satu jam?
Dua jam?
Enam hari?
Tujuh tahun?
Pergilah sejauh yang kau suka.
Pergilah selama yang kau mau.
Tapi kupastikan aku masih disini.
Menunggumu dibangku stasiun ini.

The Importance of Information and Communication Technology in Language Teaching

Nowadays, information and communication technology (ICT) has brought a rapid impact and benefit to all aspect. It became an important thing in global era like now. For example, people can communicate in real-time with others in different countries using technologies such as instant messaging, voice over IP (VoIP), and video-conferencing. Social networking websites like Facebook allow users from all over the world to remain in contact and communicate on a regular basis.

ICT refers to technologies that provide access to information through telecommunications. It is similar to Information Technology (IT), but focuses primarily on communication technologies. This includes the Internet, wireless networks, cell phones, and other communication mediums. For more specifically let’s take a look to the definition of Technology, Information, Information Technology, and ICT.

Technology is the process of using scientific, material and human resources in order to meet human need or purpose.  Information as ‘that which can be communicated and understood’ , we can then put together a basic definition of IT as: Information Technology is the use of information in order to meet human need or purpose. The definition of ICT therefore became: the use of information in order to meet human need or purpose including reference to the use of contemporary devices such as the Internet. 

Along with development of ICT in all aspect all over the world, in educational side there is also a development of ICT specifically in language learning. Language learning can become more easily with development of ICT because learner can get knowledge more than before. Source of knowledge become wider and better.  Computer,  projector, internet, etc are the example of communication technology that can help learner in language learning. Computer can help language learner to learn language with some application. According to me, internet is the biggest source. Why? Because it is a source of knowledge around the world including about language learning. Learner can get lesson from around the world.

According to author, ICT has some benefit in language teaching and learning. It can cut the miles away. Long distance can disappear with ICT. When teacher cannot come to the class, he/she can give assignment and post it in his/her blog. Teacher can do his another job while learner study. Learner can get lesson from the native without going abroad. It also can short in time, learner do not have to spend more time to learning in some place. They can just sit in front of their PC and start to browse about language learning. Beside the benefit, ICT it is also has the bad side. It needs a device that proper to ICT. Sometime learner or even teacher cannot operate the device and some device has an expensive price so not all learner can buy it.

In conclusion, ICT can be so helpful to language teaching. But it also can be so wasted and useless if the learner and teacher cannot use the device that proper to ICT. For the better learning, ICT skills must be learning first so it will not be wasted and can helpful for language teaching.
